Der Kraken ist mit einem Rahmenprofil von nur 26 mm schlanker als normal, normalerweise sind Racks 38 mm dick. Es richtet sich daher gut an technisch versierte und fortgeschrittene Spieler, da jeder Schlag präzise ausgeführt werden muss, das Ergebnis jedoch bei korrektem Schlag fantastisch ist. Da es so schmal ist, ist es in allen Aspekten des Spiels sehr leicht zu manövrieren und schnell. Der Kraken hat eine gemusterte Oberfläche für mehr Spin. Der Griff ist etwa einen halben Zentimeter länger, um die Bedienung mit zwei Händen zu erleichtern.
Der Schläger hat eine Tropfenform und einen höheren Balancepunkt und eignet sich für Spieler mit einem offensiven Spielstil.
Kraken Pro hat einen härteren Kern als Kraken Soft.
